Hokona Hall was originally built as the New Residential Hall for Women, erected in 1923. According to the UNM Housing website, it still serves as a student residence, remodeled and renamed Hokona in 1956. The Trost & Trost design is a very beautiful and boxy Pueblo and is considered an “architectural treasure and landmark” on campus.
