Stout’s Hotel

Stout’s Hotel was erected probably in 1923, according to the Feasibility Study and National Register of Historic Places Request for Proposal created by the Town of Gila Bend (please see https://www.gilabendaz.org/DocumentCenter/View/591/Stout-Hotel-Proposal-RFP-Feasibility-and-Nomination-Oct-201762460-003). Most historical enthusiasts place the erection date closer to 1928. The building, which is designed in a Spanish Colonial Revival style by the firm of Trost & Trost, stands today. Trost Society Board of Directors member Margaret Smith visited the property in 2019 and toured the building with its owners – for her wonderful narrative please see https://www.facebook.com/TrostSociety/posts/2188547774596610
