Stout’s Hotel was erected probably in 1923, according to the Feasibility Study and National Register of Historic Places Request for Proposal created by the Town of Gila Bend (please see https://www.gilabendaz.org/DocumentCenter/View/591/Stout-Hotel-Proposal-RFP-Feasibility-and-Nomination-Oct-201762460-003). Most historical enthusiasts place the erection date closer to 1928. The building, which is designed in a Spanish Colonial Revival style by the firm of Trost & Trost, stands today.
