The South El Paso Housing Project was a complex of buildings/apartments erected for low-income residents in 1939-1940. Architect of record was Guy Lewis Fraser, however the August 2, 1939 El Paso Herald published an architectural drawing that included Trost & Trost in the signature. The drawings, which appear on page 5 of the newspaper, bear no resemblence (especially in physical layout) to existing buildings at the site, leading us to believe that if built, the Trost plans were not utilized. Nevertheless, the possibility remains that that the Trost plans were used and the buildings were demolished in later years.
