The Elm Street School in Nogales, Arizona was designed by Henry C. Trost and erected in 1900. A two story building with a central tower, the building was destroyed by a fire in May, 1918. (Many historical enthusiasts place the fire at July 24, 1918, however documentary evidence from the Border Vidette newspaper (Nogales) 06/22/1918 pg. 3 (via newspapers.com) places the fire in May.)
