Trost & Trost designed and built a number of buildings circa 1913-1921 for the New Mexico Blind Institute, today known as The New Mexico School for the Blind & Visually Impaired, in Alamogordo, New Mexico. Many of the buildings stand today, and are listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
