J.E. Morgan Residence
A 1915 newspaper article discovered by researchers Lloyd C. and June F. Engelbrecht described a home to be built for contractor J.E. Morgan, designed by Trost & Trost. We lack any specific documentation that the house was ever built, and the 1916 El Paso City Directory places Morgan’s residence on Campbell Street near the downtown area. It is unlikely the Trost home was erected.
