Washington Elementary School

Washington Elementary School was designed by Trost & Trost and erected in 1905, one of a number of schools built that year in Douglas, Arizona. At lease one other 1905 school (the Lincoln Elementary) was also a Trost design. Washington School was featured in the 1907 Trost & Trost advertising pamphlet, and we see there a spectacular, dome-towered Mission Revival Building. In later years, a remodel took place that removed most of the Trost design. For more information, please see https://www.facebook.com/TrostSociety/posts/4165458590238842
