Documents discovered at the El Paso Public Library by researchers Lloyd C. and June F. Engelbrecht name Trost & Trost, with Gustavus Trost the likely lead architect, as designers of a home completed in 1928. The residence, built for Mary Bassett, is extant and located in Silver City, New Mexico. The documents include invoices from the firm for their services, although the extant home at the address does not appear to be a Trost.
