Researchers Lloyd C. and June F. Engelbrecht discovered correspondence at the El Paso Public Library’s Ponsford Collection, where on April 7, 1922, H.L. Beagle attributed a Schoolhouse erected that year to the firm of Trost & Trost. If built, we have not been able to identify the status or location of the structure. Luna Valley, where Beagle, a member of the Socorro Board of Education at the time, identified the whereabouts of the building, is now part of Socorro County.
