Lucero School was a six-room structure erected in Las Cruces, New Mexico in late 1914. Construction began on the Trost & Trost designed building late September of that year. The building, located at the corner of Picacho and Campo, was demolished in circa 1973 when the Las Cruces Urban Renewal Agency purchased the property as part of its Downtown Urban Renewal Project. Trost & Trost architectural drawings for this building were located at Mesilla Preservation Inc., according to research provided by historians Lloyd C. and June F. Engelbrecht (please see https://www.henrytrost.org/buildings/lucero-school/)
