The Hotel Fidel was originally built as the Meadows, a community project initiated by the Commercial Club of Las Vegas, in 1920. It was completed and opened in 1923, a Trost & Trost Pueblo/Spanish eclectic blend. The Hotel stands today and is in excellent condition.
