The Gustavus Trost residence was designed by Trost & Trost in a Spanish Revival design, and erected circa 1923. We believe that Gustavus designed his own home, which is very reminiscent of other documented Gustavus designs, especially the Flint McGregor home in El Paso. Judging by the older image provided here, the home has gone through remodeling, however retains the original character of the Trost design. It is in excellent condition today.
