The George G. Sauer business block in Juarez, Mexico, erected in 1923, is the only Trost & Trost designed business structure in El Paso’s Sister City that we have identified. The L-Shaped building cost $70,000 to erect in its Spanish eclectic architectural style. The reinforced concrete structure was built to be a retail and business block, as it remains today.
