The 07/14/1935 El Paso Times, page 11, states that the Clint School was to be designed by Trost & Trost and was to be built in 1935, a replacement for the previous circa 1910 structure that was destroyed by fire. The building was completed and stands today, although remodeling and additions have masked the original Trost design. Currently the building houses the Clint Early College Academy.
