The City Steam Bakery building was completed in 1907, an enchanting eclectic blend of Mission and Spanish Revival styles with some Pueblo boxiness, designed by Trost & Trost. It was built concurrently with a Showroom for retail sales on Mesa Street, also a Mission styled structure, that was demolished in 2013. This building, which remained a Bakery during most of its life, is currently vacant and deteriorating.
