Remarks: The apartment house was designed for an irregularly shaped plot. It would have been a U-shaped building, with a circular walk and fountain in front of the center of the California Avenue facade. The present configuration of California Avenue, North El Paso Street, and an alley paralleling North El Paso Street, exists today as they are shown on the floor plan. Up and down stairways are indicated, which means the building would have risen to two or more stories.
The apartment building on the site has no relation to the Trost plan, and does not appear to be a Trost design.
