The Tucson firm of Trost & Rust submitted plans for an apartment complex in Colorado Springs for George Noble Todd, to be erected at the corner of San Rafael Street and Cascade Avenue. Todd chose the plans of an unnamed Chicago firm, according to the Weekly Gazette (a Colorado Springs newspaper) of 02/27/1902 (pg 11). Newspaper clipping accessed at newspapers.com. The building, erected in a Moorish style, stands today, although not designed by Trost.
