Sunset Grocery

The Sunset Grocery, located at 700 Mundy Drive in El Paso’s Sunset Heights district, was opened originally as the Evelyn Apartments on December 3, 1912. Built by owner William Rosing, the 3-story red brick building was designed by Trost & Trost, according to the El Paso Times of 05/28/1912. A long-time iconic structure in El Paso, it stands today but in need of a restoration.
