Bessemer School - Trost Society

Bessemer School

Bessemer School was a two-room structure erected in modern-day Pueblo in 1883. A single source, a book by James H. Risley: “How it grew: a History of the Pueblo Public Schools” (University of Denver Press: Denver, 1953) pages 45-46, identifies the architectural firm as “Weston and Frost” — which, of course, is Weston & Trost. The little building was demolished in circa 1931. For more information, please see https://www.henrytrost.org/buildings/bessemer-school/
