The Deming Armory was designed by Trost & Trost as their first Federal Government commission, completed in 1916 in Deming, New Mexico. According to the Society of Architectural Historians, the building is designed in a Sullivanesque style, very similar to Sullivan’s National Farmers Bank in Owatonna, Minnesota. The Armory adds Stepped Art Deco as an added ingredient to the mix.
