Albert Steinfeld Mansion

The Steinfeld Mansion was erected in 1900, designed by Henry C. Trost as one of his earlier Tucson properties, before the firm of Trost & Rust was formed. It was initially built for the fraternal organization called The Owls Club, but in 1904 was purchased by Albert Steinfeld as a personal residence. The home was designed in what was to become a Trost signature eclectic blend of Mission and Spanish styles, featuring oval decorative vents or windows under the eaves that we see repeated in several of his later designs in El Paso and Bisbee, among other locations. The beautiful building is in excellent condition today, and is zoned for offices.
