Joseph E. Curry Residence

The Joseph E. Curry Residence was completed in October, 1907 and was designed in a Mission Revival style by Trost & Trost. The home stands today as a Bed & Breakfast operating under the name Calumet & Arizona Guest House. Historical enthusiasts along with Trost & Trost architectural scholars have been on the fence for some time as to whether the structure was actually designed by the iconic El Paso firm; however positive documentation has since been discovered by Trost Society researcher Mark Stone. A newspaper article from the October 27, 1907 Bisbee Daily Review, page 12 (reproduced here, via newspapers.com), identifies the architect as Trost & Trost.
