The Dr. Will Rogers building was erected in 1929, designed by the firm of Trost & Trost. It is part of a triune of buildings designed by the firm in 1928-1929 in eclectic blends of Spanish, Mediterranean and Pueblo styles – the other two being the Firestone Building on Texas Ave, and the Singer Sewing building downtown. It is thought by historical enthusiasts that these designs were drawn by Gustavus Trost, however we lack period documentation to confirm that. The building stands today in excellent condition.
