Texas Store Addition

Trost & Trost received the commission from Max Borschow, owner of the Texas Store (306-310 E. Overland in El Paso) in 1922, to build an addition to the current store extending south. According to the El Paso Herald from 08/11/1922, pg. 7, the addition was to be a single story. We are unaware whether there was a change in plans or a subsequent addition, but the current extension of the store to the south is two stories. Remarkably, the Texas Store is still in business at the same location today.
